The Implosion is comprised of the finest musicians in the Chicago, Lafayette and Indianapolis areas.  Appearing live at the Taste of Tippecanoe's Jazz Stage in Lafayette, IN on Saturday June 19, 2010 at 10:30pm will be Mike Stricklin, Rich Cohen & Ned Boyd on saxophones, Rich Dole on trombone, Jamie Newman on keyboards, Scott Pazera on bass and Kenny Phelps on drums.  The group was honored to be the first to perform for the newly formed Jazz Club in Lafayette and has also performed at the Jazz Kitchen in Indianapolis.  The group performs a mix of original music as well as charts spanning the history of popular music through today.  This event will also mark the release of a 5 song EP.  Please check back often for more exciting dates and details about upcoming events.
